WiLion Web Hosting is offering any Lion Organization a great deal where it comes to hosting your web site. For $55.00 a year ($4.58/month) clubs can have their own web site with a domain name and up to 5 pop3 email accounts. A $5 one-time setup fee will also be incurred. For more information click here. Of course, club web sites can be hosted anywhere. When your club does go "live," please tell Tom Clausen orWiLion so links can be made to your site from WiLion and the state office web sites.

Convenience and flexibility. It is convenient because it allows real-time changes to your web site from your computer 24-hour per day. You can use an editor and an FTP program, or commerical packages such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver to make & test changes. It is flexible because you get publishing privileges and you control your whole domain - even the email accounts. You can also give privileges to validated users. We reccommend that you use an inexpensive WYSIWYG HTML editor [we use Web Express] and a good text editor if desired [we use Ultra Edit]. We also use the popular Bullet Proof FTP program to upload our files to the Net.
