New Berlin Industrial Lions Club   News Letter Volume 30 May, 2001 IMPORTANT NOTICE! On the weekend of May, 5th and 6th our Lions Club will run the first annual Lions Bocci-Ball Tournament. Our club's next scheduled meeting is on Wednesday, May 2nd. We will use this meeting to schedule tournament work assignments. Therefore, it is important that everyone be at this meeting! Let's all work together to make this project a success for our club and the charities which we fund. If you absolutely can not attend the next meeting, please call Lions Ken Matheson, Del Giganti, or Bob Fellenz to find out your tournament work schedule. There will be three basic areas of work assignment for this event. They are Food and Drink, Raffles, and Pin Sales. Please decide in which you prefer to participate, and the committee will attempt to place you there. At this writing we have 16 teams already committed to the tournament. We anticipate a small profit, plus we'll pay for the materials to build the two courts. If all goes well , Bocci-Ball may grow to become a major fund raiser for our club.
